In rain or shine, the run will go on!

The 2012 Atlanta Half Marathon & Thanksgiving Day 5k is trumpeted among the largest half marathons in the United States.

The 2012 Atlanta Half Marathon & Thanksgiving Day 5k attracts thousands of competitive runners who are trying to beat their personal bests all the way down to first time walk/runners who just want to soak up the spirit of the season.

The half marathon is 13.1 miles long so if you’re new to this kind of a thing you may wish to take on the far less cumbersome 5k (3.1 miles). If you’re not sure about any of it there is also the one mile fun run, 50m dash or you can just come down and cheer on others who want to run.

Turner Field is the place and November 22 at 7:30am is the day.  Get running!
